Darth Vader Rogue One Appearance, No Lines On Teaser

Darth Vader will be in Rogue One. The story revolves around a band of Rebel fighters that are set for a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. As a Star Wars fan would remember, the original movie feature Luke Skywalker destroying the Death Star using the force to guide him. There was no explanation though how the Rebels had gotten their hands on the ?plans and the blueprint for the Death Star for themselves. Rogue One will address this and Darth Vader will expectedly make an appearance.

A new trailer was released for Rogue One, you can watch it below.

Darth Vader was teased in the video around the 1:55 mark. It was brief appearance as the ?Dark Lord of the Sith? was filmed with his back turned. There was no lines though for Vader. There only was his iconic breathing.

Rogue One Cast

Rogue One will feature Felicity Jones playing Jyn Erso, a character with a checkered past that lends her ability in taking on a high risk mission for the Rebel Alliance. This is to steal the plans for the Death Star before it can be fully used by the Galactic Empire. She is joined by Deigo Luna who plays Cassian Andor, a decorated Rebel Alliance Officer.

Donnie Yen of Ip Man fame will also join the cast and will play Orson Krennic. His character is a spiritual warrior who has sightless eyes. He believes that all living things are connected through the Force. He is a highly skilled fighter but lacks Force abilities.

The cast also includes Forrest Whittaker. He will play Saw Guerrera, a veteran of the Clone Wars. He will bring life to Saw Guerrera who appeared in the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series. James Earl Jones is also expected to reprise his role as the voice of the Darth Vader.
