Dark Souls 3 Release Date And Gameplay: Challenging Missions, Plus Special Collector?s Edition Revealed

The third installment to the Dark Souls series now has a release date

Dark Souls 3 is the fourth game for the Souls series and eventually the third for Dark Souls, where it features ultra-hard difficulty level and action-based role playing game where defeat is common on this game. Finally Bandai Namco has announced the release date for the anticipated game. Expect the game to arrive in North America on April 12, 2016.

A gameplay trailer was also revealed during the PlayStation Experience 2015 event showcasing some new footage of the game. And also announced was the Day One Edition, Collector?s Edition and Prestige Edition for the hardcore fans who wants more stuff on their game.

The Day One Edition priced at $59.99 will include the game and a Prima Starter Guide, this offer will be available as a preorder. The Collector?s Edition ($129.99) will include the content from the Day One Edition will be have some additions including:

  • A4 DARK SOULS Trilogy hardcover artbook
  • Cloth game map
  • 3x iron-on patches
  • Metal Case
  • 10? Red Knight Statue
  • Collector?s box

It will also come with an O-Sleeve package for that premium feel. And finally the biggest and grandest packaging will be the Prestige Edition. This massive package will include the following contents:

  • Game
  • A numbered 40cm premium Lord of Cinder hand-painted polystone resin figurine
  • 10? Red Knight figurine
  • A4 DARK SOULS Trilogy hardcover artbook
  • Metal case
  • Official Soundtrack (CD)
  • 3x iron-on patches
  • Cloth game-map
  • Exclusive display box

However the Prestige Edition is only available for the Asian players, and no news if this will become available in North America and the official price for the package.
