?Dancing with the Stars? jump-started their 21st season in overwhelming fashion on Monday night with extravagant moves and funny slip-ups from some of the dancers. Take a look at some of the dancing couples that made the show?s premier a blast to watch, shared by Entertainment Tonight.
Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough
17-year-old Bindi Irwin took the stage with energy that fans have never seen before. ?The flicks, the kicks, the face, the fun,? she said, ?that?s what this competition is about.? Irwin shocked the judges ?with the night?s highest score from a performance that judge Julianne Hough dubbed the best of the night,? shared by Entertainment Tonight.
?My mom always said that anytime dad would watch me dance around the zoo that he would cry,? Irwin said according to Entertainment Tonight. She explained how her late dad, ?Crocodile Hunter? star Steve Irwin was her motivation. ?I think the real reason I?m doing this is to make him proud.?

Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess
Boy band icon Nick Carter on the other hand had a different style compared to the other competitors. ?I?ve never considered myself the greatest dancer, but I?ve been able to hide behind the guys in the Backstreet Boys,? he said according to Entertainment Tonight. Carter also confessed about his insecurities and how he?s challenged about it. ?That?s the reason I chose to do the show, to help me overcome the insecurity.?

Andy Grammer and Allison Holker
Singer Andy Grammer gives us another taste of his talent this time through dancing. ?I?ve done so much performing with a guitar, but I have very very limited dance experience,? Grammer said according to Entertainment Tonight. ?I did Dancing with the Stars last season, just as a musician, and when I was in there, I really felt the presence of my mother,? he added. ?She loved dance and she would have loved to be a part of this show, so the fact that I?m doing it this year, I?m kind of doing it in her honor.?
