The Dancing With The Stars Season 21 Cast was finally unveiled early Wednesday during the early Good Morning America show, and we?ve got some really interesting line-up ahead. Who are these stars? You won?t believe who made the final roster.
Although we all thought that Caitlyn Jenner will be making an appearance in Season 21, the celebrity bowed out of the competition at the last minute, but replaced by equally-controversial/ famous personalities. Most notable is the participation of cooking show maven Paula Deen who?s partnering with Louis Van Amstel. Deen had a rough couple of years because of racism issues hurled against her and her show.
Another surprising participant is Paris train terror attack hero Alek Skarlatos, and animal advocate and daughter of the late Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, Bindi Irwin. ABC also announced that in addition to Deen and Skarlatos, Wednesday’s GMA announcements included entertainer Tamar Braxton and Kim Zolciak of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Murgatroyd Not Joining
Meanwhile, TV Guide shared that Australian pro Peta Murgatroyd won?t be joining the cast because of severe ankle injury.
Murgatroyd, 29, spent the summer participating in the Dancing with the Stars live tour, but said she noticed “something was not right” when she began rehearsing with her new partner, singer Andy Grammer. She had an MRI, which showed that she had four torn ligaments in her ankle as well as a floating piece of bone. Her surgery is scheduled for mid-September.
