Dallas Cowboys fan Brenna Clanton has been making news after a Twitter photo of her went viral earlier this week.
She appeared in a snapshot taken during a Cowboys-Lions football game last Monday, December 26. Clanton had a huge sign that got the attention of another NFL fan – and eventually, people all over social media.
“My fiance dumped me in a text message. He should have waited until after Christmas,” her sign read.
The message was spotted during the game by an editor at the Oxford Eagle in Mississippi named Alex McDaniel. She then uploaded a photo of the girl on her Twitter page.
In the caption, McDaniel explained that Clanton apparently planned to surprise her ex-beau with Cowboys tickets. However, her former fiance allegedly dumped her via text before learning about her huge surprise.
Based on her big smile on the now-viral photo, it seems that Clanton is?as described by McDaniel??doing just fine.?

The purple-haired, tattooed beauty has been receiving mixed comments on social media.
Some netizens commented about how guilty Clanton?s ex-fiance must feel. ?You find a chick who likes sports and buys you tickets, you do everything you can to make them happy,? one person wrote under the original post.
Other men even went as far as asking for her contact details. The McDaniel simply shared Clanton?s Instagram handle.
As expected, there has also been negative feedback. Some questioned the authenticity of the story. Others accused the jilted ex of probably not being sincere about being a Dallas Cowboys fan.
More about Brenna Clanton
Sporting News recently shared details about Clanton. She is a hair stylist from Austin who got prime seats for the Cowboy game at AT&T Stadium all the way back in October.
Instead of getting getting depressed or selling the tickets after being dumped, Clanton still went to the game. She brought along her best friend – and the sign that has now made her known all over the web.
However, Clanton admitted that she thought about how her ex will probably see her on the game. “I thought this might show up on the jumbotron or TV broadcast and I knew (my ex) would be watching the game,” she confessed.
“Just being in the seats I was in, I had never been that close before,” Clanton gushed.
