Cyberpunk 2077 Nintendo NX Version Teased?

Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red has wowed fans with The Witcher 3, and it seems they will be doing that again with their next game Cyberpunk 2077. The drastic change in setting should make the game feel fresh, while the developer?s expertise with open-world games ensures that there will be plenty of things to do in this futuristic title.

Futuristic is a pretty good word for the developers actually, as a recent interview with Rocket Beans TV that was translated by NintenGen revealed that CD Projekt Red might have seen how the Nintendo NX works. Since the studio was able to see the console, there?s a slight possibility that they will be bringing their futuristic RPG to Nintendo NX.

If true, Cyberpunk 2077 could give Nintendo some much-needed support from third-party developers. This is arguably what made the Wii U a lackluster system in the eyes of many gamers, despite being home to some very fun and unique titles like Splatoon and Super Mario Maker.

Right now, the only confirmed NX title is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While that looks like a fantastic game, some cynics might roll their eyes at the company, since they constantly reuse old properties. We are definitely going to see a new Mario game for the system; that?s pretty much guaranteed.

Should CD Projekt Red bring Cyberpunk 2077 to the console, it could make gamers curious enough to try out Nintendo NX. While no one is still sure how the NX will work, gamers might still be weary after the Wii U failed to entice gamers with its unique but limited library of games. After all, this is the same studio that made The Witcher 3, which many considered to be the best game of 2015. It?s hard to argue with that notion, since it had a very good storyline and numerous side quests that were really fun to do.

Will we see Cyberpunk 2077 on the Nintendo NX? It would definitely add some interest to the mysterious new console. Currently, the futuristic RPG is slated for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, though no release date or release window has been given.
