Crytek is finally breaking its silence with regard to the circulating rumors about their ongoing financial instability.

Crytek is one of the most known developers in the gaming industry. They are also the ones behind Crysis, FarCry, Ryse, and other known games using CryEngine. However, there are rumors spreading about the company?s financial status. Some say that the company will be out soon. Rumors about their bankruptcy have been circulating?ever since and Crytek never answered them, until now.

In a statement provided to Polygon, the company said:

?Our evolution from a development studio to an online publisher has required us to refocus our strategies. ?

?These challenges go along with an increased demand for capital, which we have secured?, he added.

These rumors began after Ryse: Son of Rome, an Xbox One exclusive, failed to launch. The company was devastated during those times according to several employees who walked out. Since then, they have been leaking employees and several developers have been sniffing out to see if the company is available for sale.

Crytek is also aware of the recent events and acknowledged that they have not been keen in passing the information to their employees. However, these rumors are just results of their failure to publicly announce their future plans.

We have already mentioned in a couple of published reports that Crytek missed payroll, mass holdouts of unpaid employees, and some of their main staff leaving to other developers. However, Crytek left a statement that will be good news despite of the problems that they are facing.

“Ultimately, with our organization, capitalization, portfolio and technologies, we have laid the foundations for securing Crytek’s future ? not just in the short term, but also long term,”

“We are confident that we will be able to share more positive news on Crytek’s progress soon.”, according to the statement.

For now, Crytek will be co-publishing HomeFront with Deep Silver in 2015.
