Netflix?s chief content officer Ted Sarandos revealed that the production for The Crown season 2 is already in the works. He teased fans of what?s to come saying, “This is going to take Queen Elizabeth from age 29 to, presumably, the current day.?
The Crown season 2 spoilers indicate that the next season will focus on the Suez Crisis of 1956. Apparently, there will be a lot more to learn about the life of Queen Elizabeth II. The Crown season 1 focused on Queen Elizabeth II?s early years as the monarch.
Sarandos expressed that they would like the royal drama to exist for eight to 10 years more. He told The Hollywood Reporter that ?the idea is to do this over six decades, in six seasons presumably.?

The Crown stars Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II. It also stars Matt Smith as her husband of 69 years, Prince Philip. Vanessa Kirby plays Princess Margaret while Victoria Hamilton plays the Queen?s Mother.
The first season of The Crown was released on November 4. The first installment has a total of 10 episodes. Fans are now patiently waiting for Netflix?s announcement about when season 2 will officially hit the small screens.
