Criminal Minds Season 12

?Criminal Minds?, CBS top rated crime drama is on for its 12th season. Paget Brewster’s character is out for a comeback. Fans are itching to find out what comes next as they watch out for season spoilers. Here are some of them!

The show’s Producer Erica Messer made this announcement on July 21, Thursday during the Comic-Con panel. She said that Brewster’s character will reappear in the forthcoming 12th season. According to Messer, “The BAU can use more help this year since they’ve got a lot of known and unknown subjects to catch”.

Brewster is Emily Prentiss. She plays a special agent head in BAU, also known as Behavioral Analysis Unit in the FBI. In the second season, she was one of the show’s main cast. However, starting season eight onwards, Prentiss only appeared as a guest character in a few episodes.

FOX canceled “Grandfathered”, which made Brewster available for the role. Fans in Twitter celebrated with her as she declared her comeback in “Criminal Minds”. However, it is not yet certain if she will appear on season 12th’s first episode or later episodes.

Shemar Moore (Derek Morgan) who was also a regular character of the series had to bid farewell during Criminal Minds 11th season. A new character was reported to fill his shoes as the new agent for BAU. This new character is reported to be “Magic Mike” sensation Adam Rodriguez.

“Criminal Minds” did not quite start at the right foot on season 1 as it got mixed reviews. As it went along, however, it generated more positive reviews. This can be credited to Mandy Patinkin (Jason Gideon) and Matthew Gray Gubler’s (Spencer Reid) roles. Thereafter, the show had two spin-offs, “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” and “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior”.

“Criminal Minds” season 12 will premiere on Sept. 28, Wednesday, 9 p.m. EDT on CBS. The thrill is on as the BAU team set out to conquer new challenges. They are going to track down the thirteen unsubs. Mr. Scratch, a serial killer, who broke out from prison in season 11 is one of them.
