?Remaster Plus?

Crash Bandicoot?s remastered version has raised questions about the game?s improvements. Developers from Vicarious Visions narrated that a lot of the original codes and assets were practically unusable. This is because of how technology has advanced a lot since its release 20 years ago.

However, they clarified that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is not a remake. Reps said they did not want to fully re-create the game so as to keep a lot of the original elements that old-school players love.

?The N. Sane Trilogy is a remaster-plus,? they specified.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy gameplay

If online rumors are to be believed, a lot of original elements were definitely retained. However, Crash Bandicoot for PS4 will inevitably contain new features related to its gameplay.

?The first new features we?ve worked on take the best of each of the games,? said reps form Vicarious Vision. ?Then we applied them to all three titles in the N Sane trilogy.”

Among the new features include a unified checkpoint and save game system. This will have both manual and auto-saving. A unified menu system and Time Trials will also be integrated in all three installments.
