Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy

The Crash Bandicoot PS4 reboot will also feature an HD upgrade. However, creators said that it was not as easy as copy-pasting things.

Naughty Dog developer?s original code and assets were all ?nearly unusable,? so they practically had to re-develop everything from scratch. ?They?re roughly 20 years old, and technology has advanced significantly in that time,? a rep from Vicarious Visions said.

Gameplay and even audio details had to be upgraded. In spite of this, creators said they maintained the game?s simplicity and precision.

?Quality-of-life improvements? also had to be integrated. This included manual and auto saving options and a unified checkpointing system obviously not included in the 1996 version.

There is still no exact release date for Crash Bandicoot?s return except that it will happen this 2017.

Recently released demos hinted at what gamers can expect from the remake. A review from Polygon said the game?s charm is in its overall nostalgic and almost tacky feel. This included the main character?s paper-thin frame and loud 90?s streetwear. Its popular bright hip-hop themes and color schemes were still there. Weird supporting cast members such as Parappa?s flower girlfriend and a dancing onion in a ninja suit, will also still be part of the game.
