In a response to a fan?s question on Twitter, Crackdown 3 developer Reagent Games announced that it will be releasing more information about the game soon. Speaking to a fan who asked if a new gameplay video is coming, the studio replied that its team has new Crackdown 3 info dropping soon. The developer didn?t share a specific date for the said information, but we are expecting it to be something more beyond a gameplay video footage such as a concrete Crackdown 3 release date.
Crackdown 3 was was announced at Microsoft’s press conference at E3 in June 2014. Since then, it was said that the Xbox One exclusive title will use cloud computing technology. Later it was reported that the game will be split into parts, with the multiplayer coming around the second or third quarter of the year.
The recent Twitter conversation between the developer and the fan indicates that Reagent Games may announce the Crackdown 3 release date soon. The developer?s reply is undoubtedly vague, but the fact that it promised more details dropping soon is a fair indication that we can expect more from the game. Regardless of a tentative Q2 and Q3 release, it is confirmed that Reagent Studios will provide new information about Crackdown 3, which has raised fans? hopes.
Crackdown 3 is a sandbox-style third-person shooter. Reagent Studios hopes to take Microsoft?s Azure technology to bring rich mass destruction in the game. In the gameplay demo shared by Microsoft at the GamesCom last year, the cloud-powered real time destruction in Crackdown 3 was eye-catching. On the official website, Dave Jones, founder & creative director of Reagent Games, said that Microsoft’s cloud computing technology provides 20 times more power as compared with playing the game on a single Xbox One console.
