The Clash Royale update will be bringing a fresh batch of in-game content this month. Game developer Supercell has confirmed that it is adding new cards, the much-awaited Tournaments, new arena and some new features along with the balance fixes. One of the highly addictive mobile games on Android and iOS is also celebrating a tournament week, which will run until July 9.
On its official blog, Supercell revealed that four new cards are coming to Clash Royale. The new cards include the common card Ice Spirit, an epic card Bowler and two legendary cards, Lumberjack and The Log. The developer has not shared any specific details regarding the cards, but just like the previous updates, these new cards will offer new ways to play.
The Clash Royale update also introduces Tournaments. The new feature will bring all the nearby players in one place. Fans will fight for the battle trophies to secure their desired position in the tournament leaderboard. The developer is also hosting a tournament where players can earn rewards and big prizes throughout the week.
Additionally, the update will bring a new arena called Frozen Park. Players will need to earn 2,300 trophies to unlock it. The new achievements will be there once the players start competing in tournaments.
Meanwhile, the TV Royale has been moved to a new position. Players can now find it in the middle screen, near the battle tab. It showcases top players in the Legendary Arena channel.
Supercell is also introducing friendly battles which allow players to choose the arena where they wish to fight against each other. Players will now be to able sort their cards according to Elixir cost, rarity or Arena. Clash Royale players will also be able to check their last used Battle Deck in the profile menu.
