More than a year after Supercell released Clash Royale, it is still one of the hottest games today across the globe. But, the developers clearly has no plans on stopping exerting efforts to keep their avid fans interested in the title. This led them to creating an in-game event called Retro Royale which will run for five days.
The announcement came earlier this week as well as details about the event. According to PocketGamer UK, Supercell launched the event on March 30, and will run until the 3rd of April. It will as well bring back the game to the old school days before the March 2016 release. The developer’s official blog post event revealed that the event will be simpler than that of today.
Furthermore, gamers should take note that only classic cards will be allowed in the event. It is a small bash that will only require six wins to finish. All players have one free entry in Retro Royale. Once you failed, next entries will cost 10 gems. Here are the prizes you might get in playing the in-game event:
- One Win – 10 Gems
- Two Wins – One Silver Chest
- Three Wins – One Gold Chest
- Five Wins – One Magical Chest
- Six Wins – 3,000 Gold
The event has officially started so gamers should now start trying to get that six straight wins. First-time players are also welcome to try Retro Royale, you just have to download the game on App Store or Google Play.
‘Clash Royale’ Legendary Arena
Meanwhile, another interesting part of playing Supercell’s mobile game is reaching the Legendary arena. It is currently the highest stage in the game and getting there is definitely not a piece of cake. According to a recent report, one should collect 3,800 trophies to get into the Legendary arena. But, that would not be easy considering how developers changed the matchmaking system.
Now, there are popular gamers that have shared some tips about how to get there without spending any dime on the game. That includes familiarizing and upgrading cards, joining a guild, and watching how pros do it. For more information, check out this link.
