At ClashCon, Supercell announced to release sneak peak videos of the major Clash of Clans update in the ?next few weeks?. However, more than two weeks has already passed but Supercell has yet to show anything about the game. A rumor has now sparked that the major Clash of Clans update has been moved to December 2015.
According to Yibada, the major Clash of Clans update will reportedly be released in time for the Christmas season. It was not stated if it will be an all-in-one update where the Christmas features will also be included. Take this rumor with a grain of salt, however, as Supercell has not officially said anything about the COC update since ClashCon (aside from a Supercell staff doing damage control after many expressed disappointment with the COC update reveal).
The Christmas release of the update, however, seems plausible as major updates necessitate Supercell to release more sneak peak videos than usual. Because of this, the rumored mid-November COC update release window seems unlikely as we haven?t been shown anything yet. A December release window also looks plausible especially as Supercell?s Jonas Collaros said at ClashCon that their COC update reveal was just a slice of what we can expect in the full update.
?There?s going to be changes across the board. We?re going to be doing an extended sneak peek schedule in the coming weeks and we?re going to be going over all these changes, not just Town Hall 11 but many many more things. This is gonna be one of the biggest updates we?ve done to Clash, this is just one of the tiny things to it.?
Do you think the major update will coincide with the Christmas special update? What new features do you think will be included aside from the Town Hall 11, new defense, new hero, and the expanded base?
