Every year, gamers are waiting for the annual Christmas Sale of Steam. With several rumors about its offers already circulating online, here are the things you need to know about the sale. From the date it would start up to the games that will have discounts.

Starting with its start date, Valve does not usually disclose this information. On several occasions already, they have kept their mouth shut regarding when their sale would kick off. However, this time seems to be different because according to claims, it has leaked online.

Portal NeoGAF claims that the Steam Winter Sale 2016 will officially start on December 22 and will run until January 2. Should that be the case, then gamers are just a week away from the huge discounts that Steam is about to offer. That would be a perfect timing as well to give consumers time to prepare their wallets.

Moreover about the sale, Expert Reviews revealed that the Christmas Sale Steam 2016 will no longer have the Flash Deals. Meaning, the prices that you will see on December 22 will also be the prices that will run all throughout the sale.

Meanwhile, let us tackle the possible games that might probably end up on the list. Rumor has it that Doom and The Witcher III will have discounts on Steam. Offers for Dark Souls III may also be available come December 22.

Also, GameNGuide noted that Steam might even include games from its Autumn Sale 2016. Should that be the case, then gamers should expect titles like Tom Clancy?s The Division, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, Quantum Break and Sid Meier?s Civilization 6.

These game may be great if included in the list, but keep in mind that Valve has not confirmed anything yet. So, you better take all information with a grain of salt.
