Ben Affleck is all set to succeed Christian Bale as Batman in the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The earlier Batman had a piece of advice for the current Batman.?Bale shared his experience about the Batman suit that he wore in his Batman Begins in 2005.
According to E! Online, Bale told Affleck, “If you’re going to play a superhero, be able to take a p*ss by yourself, because otherwise it doesn’t feel very superheroic.? ?He continued, “So I just said, ?Have a zipper or something.'”
The Fighter star had a tough time with the suit as he didn?t fit in it and he felt ?ridiculous and stupid.? He further went on to say, “I just left like a rat prat. And then by the time it did fit, I was like I can’t do this because I’m claustrophobic. I’m hyperventilating and they cast the wrong person.”
Bale played the role of Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy which was based on the DC Comics character Batman. However, he was shocked when the news of Affleck playing the next Batman was revealed. According to Comic Book, Bale said, “I’ve got to admit initially, even though I felt that it was the right time to stop, there was always a bit of me going, ‘Oh go on… Let’s do another.’ So when I heard there was someone else doing it, there was a moment where I just stopped and stared into nothing for half an hour.”
There were rumors that Bale would be playing the role of the next DC comic character. He went on to admit that he was jealous to see somebody else play the role of Batman. However, he advised Affleck via mail and shared his hard learned experiences. The Dark Knight actor had not spoken to Bale personally yet.
Meanwhile, viewers and fans are anxiously waiting to watch Snyder?s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which is scheduled to release on March 25.
