One of the most loved television shows Celebrity Apprentice?s finale recently took place and to everyone?s surprise Sophie Monk won the winner?s trophy of by defeating Big Brother star Tim Dormer.
The 35-year-old singer and radio personality won the fourth season of Celebrity Apprentice on Wednesday night and won a prize money of $100,000 prize for chosen charity Make-A-Wish. She faced tough competition from Tim Dormer, but in the end it was Sophie’s hard work, her ability to remain humble and maintain peace within her team is the reason why she won the title, reported Pop Sugar.
According to News.Com AU, the final challenge of the show involved Monk and Dormer to come up with a campaign to market Australia to the world. And to help them ex-contestants Richard Reid, Matt Cooper, James Mathison, Tegan Martin, Mel Greig and Gina Liano came in.
Split into two teams, they each had two days to produce a unique brand campaign and present it to an audience of high profile business professionals.
Monk wasn’t always a frontrunner for the Celebrity Apprentice crown, with boss Mark Bouris telling the model and singer, he thinks people don’t give her enough credit for her intellect, stated 9 News.
“I think people just surface paint you as a pretty, blue eyed, blonde haired girl who can sing and act but no-one gives you credit for your level of brightness,” Bouris said. “But I do. You have my respect,” he further added.
On winning the show, Sophie said, ?I?ve tested myself so much on this show?I?ve learnt things I cannot learn in 10 years of time of time. ?I?ve been ripped off some huge cash ’cause I cannot stand up for myself & this has taught me too.?
