Carrie Fisher has been busy this 2016 promoting her latest book, The Princess Diarist. She was in the middle of a book tour when she got ill last Friday during a flight to LA from London.

The statement from Fisher?s daughter was reported by BBC alongside anecdotes shared by some of Fisher?s biggest fans. Among them were Eric and Elizabeth McCabe of New York, who said they grew up watching Star Wars.
