With the leaked promotional art from Marvel for ?Captain America: Civil War? revealed last month, a certain female character was surprisingly absent from the line-up of both Team Captain America and Team Iron-Man: Elizabeth Olsen?s Scarlet Witch. In a recent report, Elizabeth Olsen was able to answer some questions about Scarlet Witch?s second movie appearance after ?Marvel?s Avengers: Age of Ultron,? sharing Wanda Maximoff?s emotional state, according to Screenrant.
?She?s okay,? Olsen said in an interview with MTV. ?She?s doing alright. She?s confused, she?s conflicted. She?s found some people she thinks she connects with, but she?s doing alright. They released images of Team Cap and Team Iron Man. She wasn?t there. She?s always the wild card. I like being the wild card,? she said during the Toronto International Film Festival, while Elizabeth Olsen was promoting her new film ?I Saw The Light.?
In the Marvel comics, Wanda Maximoff is one of the strongest characters and could easily be one of the heaviest hitters in the Avengers, posted by Screenrant. Olsen also shared that the Scarlet Witch?s powers ?may be evolving past what was shown in ?Avengers: Age of Ultron?? and that she is currently partnering with movement coach Jennifer White to better grasp the ?character?s sense of motion,? according to Screenrant.
?It?s not a new hand technique per se. We?re trying to grow her movement as a whole? Jenny and I have great pride in trying to make this a huge transformation ? the next time we see her ? of her abilities,? Olsen said.
In other reports, Civil War?s plot may deviate from what the comics intended. The Captain America: Civil War plot element of the Super Hero Registration act from may be absent from the movie. The Super Hero Registration Act was the main focus?of the Civil War comics and many have expected this to be the same for the Marvel movie. Recent reports however said this won?t be the case.
