As the song goes, some good things never last. And this is what appears to have happened with the Fifth Harmony. As their co-member Camila Cabello left the group, the other four seemed to be clueless about her move.

On Monday morning, the female singing group announced that Cabello decided to take a leave from the group. The troupe then took to Twitter to reveal the news. In no time, it spread on social media like wildfire. Less than 20 minutes later, the tweet had been retweeted 11,000 times and got 17,000 likes. These numbers are expected to grow as the days go by.

The remaining four members revealed in their tweet that they were “informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony.” This is pretty weird considering that they’ve been together for so long. Four years as a group is no joke, and to break the news through a rep means something is just not right.
It should be noted though that Cabello has been in successful collaborations in the past year that have nothing to do with Fifth Harmony. First off was her hit duet with crooner Shawn Mendes, then her current Billboard climbing hit with Machine Gun Kelly, ??Bad Things?.
This is NOT the End of Fifth Harmony
The message went on to say that this is not the end of Fifth Harmony. They will continue as a group with the remaining four singers namely, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui. It also notes that the four girls will move forward as a group but will also explore “solo endeavors.”
Fans have been wondering for some time now if there were any changes going to be made in the future. However, no one was sure who was going to leave first. Others were surprised, while others were pretty hostile with their reactions. Some even said that the group was better off without Cabello anyway.
Forbes also noted that all five members of the group performed just hours before the announcement was made public. This was part of the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour in Florida, making its way across the country. The group has had a hectic schedule all year promoting their album 7/27 that has been released back in May. This catapulted their album and singles to new heights in the U.S. charts.
