EA and Dice has finally announced Black Ops 3 DLC – Salvation. This expansion will bring an end to Treyarch?s zombie saga which it had started six years ago in Call of Duty: World at War.
The announcement was immediately followed by the release of the new trailer for the expansion. In the trailer, Origins characters Richtofen, Dempsey, Take, and Nikolai are seen returning from their journey. They have travelled through time and space to obtain the Summoning Key. Unfortunately, that key that they tried to retrieve also contained a powerful being inside it – Shadow the Harbinger of Doom. The heroes must fight a throng of zombies one last time in order for them to save their immortal souls.
The new expansion pack offers 4 additional multiplayer maps to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
This was once home to a very powerful medieval army. Now, the citadel lay in ruins, broken and derelict. Gamers will surely enjoy close-quarter combats in this tight cornered medium-sized map. It also features a drawbridge over a moat. This will allow unique player movements and other gameplay opportunities.
As the name implies, this micro map is set in a well-stocked picnic table. Players battle each other out amidst giant hamburgers, sodas, cupcakes and picnic baskets.
Outlaw is a classic western-style map that is taken from the famous Standoff of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. This medium-sized map brings classic gameplay engagements and flanking routes. Players will also be able to plan their attack and their positions for medium to long range combat.
This map was taken from Call of Duty: World at War and was given a futuristic feel. Players will be able to explore and battle each other in this high-tech re-imagining of Outskirts.
