Just when you thought Fallout 4 only had that crazy idea of making game-themed beers as part of their game promotion, looks like Call of Duty: Black Ops III is also joining the bandwagon. Exclusive only to Australia and brewed by Black Hops Brewing, the themed beer is already available in the market as part of the promotion for the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
The beer is called Call of Duty: Black Hops 3 which is a Black Hops Midnight Pale Ale and is brewed by Black Hops Brewing, a new company which was founded last year by Michael McGovern, Eddie Oldfield and Dan Norris, the three founders used a specially roasted wheat to create a deeo rich black color, making the pale ale black. The beer is described to have ?crisp, light and refreshing with tantalizing hop aromas of pine and citrus fruit?. The release of the Call of Duty: Black Hops 3 also serve as the first anniversary beer for Black Hops Brewing when they made the partnership with Activision for the Black Ops III game.
And just like in Call of Duty tradition, Black Hops also shared an infographic about the fun facts on how they craft their beer, including the amount of ingredients needed, you can check the infograpghic below.
The Call of Duty: Black Hops 3 beers are available exclusively in Australia in limited quantities with 6-pack packages available for AUD 25 or a carton of 24 for AUD 75, you can order them at Beer Bud.
And this is not the first time we see an odd partnership between a game and a beer company, Carlsberg also made a partnership with Bethesda to create Fallout 4-themed beer.
