Activision has released the remastered version of the hit shooter game “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare”?and it?s nothing like anything players have seen before. The latest game features one of its notable missions, the Crew Expendable, but players can?t just get this game just yet. Yes, it?s already been released but the thing is, players cannot buy the game as a standalone game. They must first purchase the Legacy Editions or the Digital DeLuxe Editions in order to get the game on a bundled basis.
That?s the catch, and what irks fans more is that, these editions are way too expensive to buy, instead of just purchasing the “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare”?game. It?s a game, something that players can?t just pass on. Clearly, when Activision said they are working on the remastered version of “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare”, they meant business. Raven Software made an immaculate update on the game?s graphics that players can?t help but notice immediately.
The latest promo video of “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare”?showed some of the best graphics of the game while featuring the iconic Crew Expendable mission. The Crew Expendable is the second mission on the Modern Warfare remastered game and coming from Raven Software, who also developed Singularity, X-Men Origins, Wolverine and 2009 Wolfenstein, there?s an obvious advancement on the quality of the video.
In the comments made on the XboxAcievements, fans were torn whether they really want to purchase the game or not. After all, some of them have already played ?Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? on their Xbox 360 consoles.
Meanwhile, the original developer of the game, Vince Zampella of Infinity Ward, has expressed his thoughts about Activision doing a remaster of the game. In his statement he said ?I told them–don’t f*** it up. That’s my on the record response. I rang [Activision] up and said, honestly, don’t f**k it up. It’s a huge part of people’s gaming memories.?
