Activision on Thursday, Dec. 8 announced that six new maps will arrive on the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare”?remastered game this coming Dec. 13. According to reports, the free DLC will bring a total of 16 maps for the Modern Warfare game to date. These new maps include Pipeline, Countdown, Showdown, Block, Strike and Wet World. Also, along with the new DLCs, comes a new game mode that include Gun Game and Hard Point.
Take note, the two game modes added on the “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare”?were first introduced on ?Call of Duty: Black Ops? and Black Ops 2, respectively. On Dec. 20, players will also get another treat with the all new Christmas-themed Winter Crash map. The Winter Crash map is part of the free content given away for the game. Players will get full access of the map on Dec. 20.
Unfortunately, the only way you can have these is by purchasing any of the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital DeLuxe version of the ?Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.? Currently, Activision has not given the go signal to sell the ?Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? remastered game as a standalone title.
Call of Duty on the Xbox one backwards compatibility
Meanwhile, one of the most predicted big title names to arrive on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature is the “Call of duty: Modern Warafre 3.”?After rumors suggested that it arrived on the BC feature during the Black Friday celebration, Microsoft was quick to deny the rumors saying none of that was true. Previously, the ?Call of Duty: Black Ops 2? was spotted on the feature, but Microsoft said, there has been a mistake and Black Ops 2 is not yet included on the list. At least four Call of Duty titles are already on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature and they include Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: Worlds at War.
