Infinity Ward just posted a?teaser image of what could be the first Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies DLC. Captioned: ?Something evil is lurking in the woods…? the picture depicts one of the horror genre?s classic settings: the spooky cabin in the middle of the forest. The only noticeable element aside from the cabin is the mysterious symbol engraved on the tree on the right.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies DLC May Take Place In Spooky Log Cabin
— Call of Duty (@CallofDuty) December 19, 2016
The last Call of Duty from Infinity Ward, 2013?s Ghosts, featured horror icons Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees as hidden cameos. Could the developer be planning something similar in Infinite Warfare? We?ll have to wait and see. We don?t know if the cabin is actually a Zombies map. It definitely looks like it has nothing futuristic going for it, so it would be weird to see it used as a map for Infinite Warfare?s multiplayer.
A separate tweet from Infinity Ward developer Lee Ross mentions that the DLC pack will be available on January 31. Due to Activision?s exclusivity deal with Sony, PlayStation 4 users will be getting first dibs on the expansion. No date for the Xbox One and PC has been announced yet, but we can assume that it will drop on these platforms around a month after.?We don?t know what else will be dropping in the first DLC pack, but we can assume that the usual assortment of new maps and weapons will be included.
What do you think of a possible Cabin in the Woods Zombies mode? Does it sound better than the wacky Zombies in Spaceland map that launched in the base game? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
