Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 trailer reveals game’s release date.

Activision has finally dropped the veil covering the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. ?The publisher posted a new trailer giving players a first look at the Treyarch-developed first-person shooter game.

Black Ops 3 release date

Upon watching the new clip (see below), players may notice that it?s the first time in the Call of Duty (CoD) series? history that the campaign’s protagonist is fully customizable. Aside from upgrading a character?s abilities, changing its appearance and tweaking weapons, players can also choose the gender of their CoD hero.

Speaking to Engadget, Studio Head Mark Lamia mentioned, “This Call of Duty campaign is all about choice. Your investment in your character is going to mean something more than it ever has before in any Call of Duty game… It’s not just a female head on a male body. It’s a different set of animations for the entire game.?

The trailer also confirms a November 6, 2015 release date for the upcoming video game. For those who pre-order Black Ops 3, they?ll also get access to a multiplayer beta version on PS4, Xbox One and PC, although no start date has been given yet.

Once released, Black Ops 3 will be the result of three years of worth of hard work–the longest time that developer Treyarch has ever devoted on a single Call of Duty installment, Eurogamer noted.

PC Requirements

For players who want to stick to the more conventional keyboard-and-mouse control, Treyarch has revealed the minimum system requirement for Windows PC. For Black Ops 3 to work, GameSpot reported the following requirements must be met by players.

  • Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
  • Processor: Intel? Core? i3-530 @ 2.93 GHz / AMD Phenom? II X4 810 @ 2.60 GHz
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA? GeForce? GTX 470 @ 1GB / ATI? Radeon? HD 6970 @ 1GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

On the other hand, IGN pointed out that the recommended specifications for higher performance have not been disclosed by the developer. Minimum hard drive storage requirement isn?t shared too, but that makes sense since the game is not finished yet, according to the site.
