The Bungo Stray Dogs season 2 finale sets things up for a set of storyline to look forward to in its sophomore season. The Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia were both established. The primary antagonistic force is introduced in the finale.
That is no less than the Guild. The Armed Detective Agency, Port Mafia and the Guild are now in full conflict. It may imply that the Bungo Stray Dogs season 2 will see an all-out urban war. But before that, how will Atsushi prove that he is a worthy protagonist?
Atsushi is perhaps the most interesting character in the Bungo Stray Dogs. He was paired with various teammates for the most part of the season. That seemed to be enough to build up some worthy screen time.
It is refreshing to see that the Port Mafia is not the enemy this time. They are certainly part of the Bungo Stray Dogs season finale but the Guild owns the spotlight. The Guild is possibly a bigger threat than Port Mafia. The Armed Detective Agency tries to stop the Guild, but was unable to do so.

So the attack inevitably begins. The heroes need to fight a young lady with menacing braces. Her name is Lucy M. Lucy M.?s ability is said to be terrifying. But Atsushi ultimately manages to defeat her. It only shows that Atsushi has really grown as a significant protagonist in the Bungo Stray Dogs season 2 finale.
Atsushi and Lucy M.?s fight is perhaps the best thing so far. The unique and visually creative qualities of Lucy?s ability are highlighted. Its solid animation is also brag-worthy.
Bungo Stray Dogs is a well loved Japanese manga series written by Kafka Asagiri. It is illustrated by Sango Harukawa.
