Bungie Launches Destiny Companion App!

Great news Destiny fans!

As Destiny developer Bungie prepares for the Destiny beta, they?ve got something cool for you! Bungie has updated their mobile app on both iOS and Android and renamed it as Destiny Companion App.

In the official page in the Google PlayStore, Destiny Companion App is described as follows:

From the creators of Halo and, the official Destiny Companion App connects to your Destiny adventure wherever life finds you. Inspect your Guardian, analyze player stats, and compare your Grimoire score. Keep in touch with your friends in the Bungie Community via forums, groups, or private messaging and track them down on the PlayStation Network or Xbox LIVE. And, receive the latest news and updates about Destiny.


According to the same page, the update was made in support to Destiny Public Beta (7/17 – 7/27) and the upcoming launch of Destiny (9/9). With the update, you can search for players, inspect your Guardian, manage your inventory, and stay connected to the world of Destiny!

Destiny 2

The Destiny Beta will begin first for the PlayStation 4 ?and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems at 10:00am PDT on July 17. Meanwhile for Xbox One, Xbox 360 games and entertainment systems from Microsoft, it will be at 10:00am PDT on July 23.

However, the Beta will be offline for scheduled maintenance on July 21 ? July 22 and will be back up for pre-order participants in all platforms until 11:59pm PDT on July 27.

Destiny will be officially launched this September 9th, 2014 and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
