Rejoice Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel fans! 2K Games has confirmed the release dates of one of the most anticipated games this year.
Aside from the release date, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 players will surely love the new video of ?2K featuring “Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Moon Dance Trailer (Unedited).”
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will bring players to Pandora?s moon in order to experience wild, gravity-bending gunfights in zero-atmosphere environments using an array of all-new weaponry.
Taking place in an old Dahl facility on Pandora?s moon, players will meet TR4-NU, who once was one of Dahl?s military recruiters until he went crazy. TR4-NU is now hosting the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit and giving awesome loot to those who succeed against the moon?s toughest enemies.
The Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will feature playable characters such as Athena ?the Gladiator?, Wilhelm ?the Enforcer?, Nisha ?the Lawbringer?, and Claptrap ?the Fragtrap? who will be fighting alongside Handsome Jack to witness his transformation into the ruthless tyrant and to assist with the rise of the Hyperion Corporation.
?Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has awesome low-gravity gunplay on Pandora?s moon, four brand new vault hunters and a whole new campaign. Story wise, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes place between the original Borderlands and Borderlands 2. You can go solo or with three buddies, playing as Wilhelm, Nisha, Athena, or as a gun-slinging Claptrap in service of Handsome Jack. That?s right, you?re helping Handsome Jack and witnessing his origin story as he transforms into the megalomaniacal tyrannical jerk you loved to hate in Borderlands 2.?
The plot will follow Handsome Jack?s descent into villainy, focusing on his escape and capture of the Hyperion company?s moonbase. The game will expand upon the engine and gameplay of Borderlands 2 and introduce new gameplay mechanics, including anti-gravity, freeze weapons, and oxygen tanks which can be used to navigate environments and perform special attacks.?
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available on October 14, 2014 in North America and on October 17, 2014 internationally, for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PC.
