One of the best games of 2015 is finally getting its major expansion and we got some new info. The upcoming expansion for Bloodborne was announced at the Tokyo Game Show a few days ago, though it was already announced that this will be the only expansion DLC for the game. Gaming website Gamespot managed to have an interview with series producer Masaaki Yamagiwa to share more details on the new tricks that we can expect on The Old Hunters.
The Demo that was shown at Tokyo Game Show, Yamagiwa mentioned that it only a small portion from the expansion where some of the enemies featured, including the stage boss are still not in their final version, and players can expect three whole new levels for The Old Hunters. The expansion can be playable at a certain progression in the story but you don?t need to finish the entire story to unlock it. When Yamagiwa said that the expansion is a whole new expansion, he really means it. From more weapons, items and enemies, that means there will be new game strategies that players can use in battle. The focus on The Old Hunters is nightmare where the Old Hunters have been trapped, and one of the characters was Ludwig; one of the Old Hunters that was mentioned in the main game, and in this DLC, you will be able to learn more on the lore of the town of Yaharnam.
It was announced that there will be ten new weapons, but Yamagiwa hinted that it could be around fifteen, there are even new set of costumes like the one featured in the Tokyo Game Show. The weapons that never made the cut to the main game due to development time will be finally added to the Old Hunters expansion, and one of these includes a bow that can be devastating from afar.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters will be available for the PlayStation 4 on November 24 for only $19.99
