Bloodborne Online Glitch Update: What Really Happened During The Emergency Maintenance

By on

Bloodborne?s online servers are now back to normal after a recent ?emergency maintenance? that forced the game to shutdown their servers for a short period of time. This ?emergency maintenance? by From Software was a shock to the gamers of Bloodborne because they had no initial reminder and no explanation was given.

Servers back online

It had been reported that the Bloodborne online servers would allegedly be down for a few more days but they have already given a patch update (version 1.08) fixing some of the dangerous bugs.

Check out the statement by From Software below:

?The emergency server maintenance which occurred from yesterday (1-Dec, Tues, around 15:00) has been completed.

Also in regards to the issues like NPC survivor state not handed over properly which occurred in the previous update, we have provided a latest update (1.08) where such issues have been fixed. We are deeply sorry to cause such inconvenience.?

Judging from the statement, it looks like From Software has found a way to fix the DLC loophole as players who recently took advantage of the glitch shared on Reddit that ?they?re now locked out of the DLC, despite having played around in the new areas only a few days ago.?

In a previous report, gamers were surprised about the sudden appearance of?servermaintenance on their screens when they attempted to?play??Bloodborne?online. This unannounced maintenance has caused some players panic and?dismay?due to their statement that the?online?mode will be down for ?a few days.?

Sony and From Software haven?t officially released a statement concerning the abrupt?server?maintenance for the game but the problem is: ?a few days? for?Bloodborne?gamers is a prolonged time. And since the game?s one and only DLC add-on, ?The Old Hunters,? has just been released, people were itching to?play?the game already.

Reports have stated that the exploit Wernicke was talking about would be the ?Old Hunter free DLC glitch? posted a few days ago by a reddit user concerning the free access to the game?s?online?mode. The post has since been removed and according to reports, ?several users claimed whatever trick had been originally listed did free give access.?
