Blizzard Sends First Wave of Heroes of the Storm Alpha Invites Outside U.S.

By on

Dying to try Heroes of the Storm? Then we have good news for you! Blizzard just announced that they are now giving away alpha invites outside of North America. Yep, that?s right. Here?s your chance to get to play all your favorite Blizzard heroes in one game.

But wait, you might be asking yourself?how will I receive an invite?

Of course, there?s always a bit of luck involved. Aside from friends and family of Blizzard employees, Blizzard is only sending invites to those who have registered to Heroes of the Storm updates in their Battle.Net accounts.

You first need to have a Battle.Net account. If you still don?t have one, you can register here. Do remember that you should choose your location (U.S., Europe, SEA, etc.) where you register your account.

Once logged in, go to your Beta Profile Settings and make sure you check Heroes of the Storm. You might also be asked to download a diagnostics checking tool before you can register to their games. Here?s what I?m talking about:

HOTS

Then that?s it! All you have to do is wait and check your mail. If you?re lucky enough, then maybe you?ll get an invite the following day. You may also opt to register to Blizzard?s other games as well.

Blizzard also announced that they will be enabling their game servers in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia for international users to have a better gaming experience.

Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard?s first MOBA game?although they are saying that it?s actually a brawler game?which features a lot of characters from the other Blizzard games such as Diablo, Starcraft, and Warcraft. Do remember that the game is still in its Technical Alpha phase, and the game may experience account wipes from time to time in its duration. This means any quests, skins, or heroes you have acquired will be reset as though you?re starting a new account.

Blizzard has not yet announced a release date for the game.
