By on

The following talks about Blindspot Season 2 spoilers, so beware.

The premiere is already nearing and will be on September 21 on NBC ?at 8 p.m. ET. We are more or less a couple of months out and fans have been clamoring about what will happen. One thing that thrills fans is the big Jane Doe reveal–who she is and what her motives are.

Jaimie Alexander (playing Jane Doe) in this video revealed that Jane?s identify is going to be uncovered this season and she is not who viewers think she is. A great twist is coming up and boy, do we love twists.

Executive Martin Gero sat with Entertainment Weekly and teases the Blindspot Season 2. He revealed that the second installment of the show will go quite deeply into the Jane Doe character. It will also take the viewers into Jane?s former organization and will meet the mysterious Shepherd.

Also, the fans will not have to wait long to know who Jane Doe is. Gero added that the rest of the team will find out in the first episode of Blindspot Season 2 and they will not be happy about it. Again, that?s in the first episode so you better not miss the premiere.

Gero also explained that as Weller arrested Jane, he felt very angry. As the head of the FBI Critical Incident Response Group that had a major bump in the investigations, he might be pulled off from the case. This is a theory that is pretty much possible. One of the show?s new hire could take over this assignment and that new major character could be played by Archie Panjabi. According to TVLine, she will join the cast as the head of the secret NSA division that has been tracking Jane Doe from afar.

This new addition would create a new dynamic between the FBI team headed by Weller and the NSA headed by the new major character that will be played by Panjabi.

The show gets more exciting as it ages and we just can?t wait for Blindspot Season 2 to start.
