The manga series Bleach has recently ended but fans have already something to look forward to as a recent post revealed that a live action movie is going to be created based on the series.
It was on the 38th issue of Shueisha?s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine when the film was revealed to the fans. It will be a live action film adaptation that will hit the big screens in Japan in 2018. However, the arc that it will cover is still unknown so let us all wait for further announcement from the production team.
Speaking of the team that will be behind this project, it is going to be headed by Shinsuke Sato, who will be acting as the director. While for the lead character, Ichigo Kurosaki, it will be portrayed by Sota Fukushi. However, actors who will play key roles like Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue, Toshiro Hitsugaya and Byakuya Kuchiki have yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, aside from the announcement of the Bleach live action movie, the 38th issue of Shonen Jump also featured the ending of the manga series, which ran for 15 long years. The conclusion was great as it presented new faces like Kazui Kurosaki (Son of Ichigo and Orihime) and Ichika Abarai (daughter of Rukia and Renji Abarai). Also, it revealed what happened to the other characters such as Aizen still being in prison and Ishida becoming a doctor.
Because the ending also presented the next generation of Shinigamis, similar to Naruto, there are speculations that the creator will as well open a new arc that will feature Kazui as the main character and his father taking the supporting role. However, keep in mind that this is just a fan-based speculation and nothing is confirmed, so take the news with a grain of salt.
