Breaking Bad DEA joins TBBT cast

As rumors abound that Season 10 will be the last for The Big Bang Theory, CBS chief Glenn Gellar recently said that he?s hopeful they will get more seasons. The show had recently gotten Dean Norries on board the show for a multiple episode arc.

According to Fox News Entertainment, Norris, who played DEA agent Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad, just signed for a multi-episode arc on The Big Bang Theory. He will be playing Captain Williams, an intimidating Air Force Officer, who?s interested in Howard, Leonard and Sheldon?s quantum gyroscope to use for military purposes.

Captain Williams is another new character to look forward to on the new season, together with Katey Sagal (8 Simple Rules) and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) who will play Penny?s mom and brother, respectively.

The Big Bang Theory Season 10 will pick up right where Season 9 left off, where Penny and Leonard ?were planning a redo wedding for their friends and family because they eloped. They have gathered the group for dinner, where Leonard has successfully invited his Dad, Alfred (Judd Hirsch). Sheldon?s mom, Mary (Laurie Metcalf) and Leonard?s mom Beverly (Christine Baranski) are also in attendance.

Extended contracts

While Leonard?s divorced parents are constantly nasty to each other, Alfred and Mary hit it off immediately and eventually goes for a nightcap together. Both are MIA the next day, with mobile phones switched off, leading the group to form their own assumptions for what had transpired.

While the public is hoping for more seasons from the show, as there is so much left in the each of the character?s lives to explore, rumors are also starting to buzz that the stars including Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons may extend their contracts.
When Gellar was asked about when news of a cancellation or renewal will be known to the public, he didn?t offer much info. He did say though that the show will go on for as long as everyone keeps making it.

?We?ll put it on for as long as everyone wants Big Bang on the air. I hope it lasts forever,? he said.

The Big Bang Theory Season 10 will premier on CBS on September 21.
