Bob Odenkirk wants more Jimmy and Mike scenes when he was asked what he would like to see in Better Call Saul Season 3.

The Breaking Bad spinoff, which centers on the life of Jimmy McGill a.k.a. Saul Goodman pre-Breaking Bad days, just earned seven Emmy nominations this year which proves that Saul could truly stand on its own.

Odenkirk, who plays the morally challenged lawyer, Jimmy McGill, wants to work more with co-star and co-Emmy nominee, Jonathan Banks, who plays another morally conflicted character, Mike Ehrmantraut.

In an interview with Variety, he was asked what he would like to see in the third season, and he said, ?Mike and Jimmy sitting in a tree. Or in a parking attendant?s booth. More me and Mike together, squaring off.?

He continued on to say how he loves working with Banks, ?It?s just always fun. It makes me laugh. It?s a great burst of energy to be working with [Jonathan] Banks like that.?

Odenkirk also added that he has crazy ideas about his character and he would love to see Saul during his Breaking Bad years. And also, the Saul ?off-screen, out of his office, not in his Saul mode. I?m curious what that person is.?

He also shared how the spinoff is obviously similar to its predecessor but most people actually comment on how different it is from Breaking Bad. The glaring similarity between the two shows is that the main characters have moral dilemmas. The only difference is, they?re not completely transformed unlike Bryan Cranston?s Walter White who already went through that Mr. Chips to Scarface transformation from which he seldom looks back to.

In Saul, particularly Jimmy and Mike?s character, undergo a really slow transformation and at times they still take a few steps back, go forward, and then back again with their decisions and actions. In Season 3, we might see both of them lean more on the other side of the fence, especially if they?re going to be working together more often.

The show earned seven Emmy 2016 nominations including Best Drama Series, Best Actor (Bob Odenkirk), Best Supporting Actor (Jonathan Banks), Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series (?Five-O?, Gordon Smith), Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Drama Series (?Five-O? and ?Marco?, Kelley Dixon), and Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series ? One Hour (?Marco?, Phillip W. Palmer, Larry Benjamin, Kevin Valentine).

Better Call Saul Season 3 returns 2017 on AMC.
