A new gameplay filled trailer for Battlefield Hardline has been leaked! Battlefield Hardline is an upcoming game in Electronic Art?s first person shooter franchise. The video has been taken down already, but there will be an official reveal soon.
EA has officially acknowledged and unveiled the existence of Battlefield Hardline. There were initial leaks that mentioned that the class based shooter would be available for the Windows PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and the PlayStation 4.
The video contains driving, shooting and even zip lines in the Battlefield Hardline trailer. The trailer mentions that the first person shooter is being developed as a collaboration between Battlefield series developer EA DICE and Dead Space developer Visceral Games. EA DICE will be responsible for the multiplayer aspect while Visceral Games will take the lead in creating the campaign.
Battlefield Hardline?s Omaha campaign has star cops as well as criminals and is influenced by what you see in television dramas. The episodes are designed to be played multiple times with destructible environments.
The narrator mentions: ?All of this destruction and mayhem, along with having multiple?Levolution?events, effecting maps and gameplay makes Omaha the most visually diverse Battlefield yet?.
Steve Papoutsis, Vice President and General Manager of Visceral Games, took to Twitter to confirm the authenticity of the leaked video. He went on to mention that the gameplay is about six months old and came from an internal meeting. It wasn?t the preferred way of showcasing their game, but the leak also generated quite a buzz online. Papoutsis mentioned that he is excited to see that so much buzz was generated for the old footage and that he can?t wait to show us how much further the team has taken the game since then.
EA will be unveiling the game on this coming E3 event. The Battlefield Hardline website states that the unveiling will be on June 9 12:00 PDT and that it will also be available online via the EA website.
As mentioned, the leaked video has already been taken down but you can check out Gamespot?s copy here.
