DC fans leaped with joy when the latest flick was announced that audience will be seeing an epic fight between Batman and Superman, but it seems that a bigger fight will be waged as Wonder Woman is reportedly fighting Doomsday in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Comic-Con trailer reportedly showed glimpses of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) having a climatic one-on-one fight with Doomsday, Heroic Hollywood reported.
The scene from the comics where Wonder Woman uses her sword to chop down Doomsday?s arm will be shown in the film, they reported. Doomsday?s lacerated hand however doesn?t impair him from the fight as he immediately re-grows his arms with a Bone Blade.
Screen Rant says this rumor is highly probable as Doomsday?s appearance may be used as a means to unite Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman against a common foe.
Doomsday being created by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) was already hinted in the trailer, Moviepilot previously reported. The Comic-Con trailer shows the body of General Zod, the villain whom Superman (Henry Cavill) killed in the ?Man of Steel?, inside a body bag. ?Moviepilot suggests Lex Luthor would fuse the DNA of General Zod with kryptonite to create Doomsday. Luthor would then use the monster to fight against the heroes, Cinemablend reported.
Doomsday To Fight Justice League??
If Wonder Woman isn?t truly fighting Doomsday in the trailer, ?Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? may at least hint how Doomsday is created to foreshadow his appearance in the upcoming Justice League film.
According to Moviepilot, Doomsday is so strong that he is the only villain that has killed Superman in the comics. This may be one of Snyder?s ways to fast-track the introduction of the Justice League team as the strength of the entire team is needed to defeat this daunting foe. This is essential as director Zack Snyder is making large efforts to make a cohesive DC Cinematic Universe.
The Joker in Batman v Superman
The Joker is also hinted to be appearing in the DC film. The Joker actor Jared Leto has heavily referenced ?The Killing Joke? in his Tweets. This rumor became hot after actress Jenna Malone was reportedly appearing as Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl and Oracle.
The Joker will fuel Bruce Wayne’s?hatred against Superman as teased in the trailer, Moviepilot reported.
