“Awesome takes time”, this could probably be the biggest and the best excuse in the video game business of 2014. Along with games like The Witcher 3, The Order: 1886, Mad Max, The Division, etc, which got pushed to a later release date in 2015, Batman: Arkham Knight is joining them according to Dax Ginn. He told reporters that the release of the last Batman game in the Arkham trilogy will no longer be around the later months of 2014, and instead, ?around 2015.
Arkham series is one of the best, if not the best, Batman games to come around. If you need to set your expectations high for a game that will follow Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, it?d be your best bet that Arkham Knight will take a huge amount of time in its development process. Rock-steady understands this and it is the very reason why they will be needing some ?extra? time to polish up the series? finale.
?Now Batman: Arkham Knight is totally awesome. The thing about awesome, though, is awesome takes time. And totally awesome takes a lot of time. So in collaboration with our colleagues at Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics, we have decided to extend the development time of Batman: Arkham Knight. Now, the very simple reason for doing this is to ensure we are delivering the awesome level of quality that Batman fans and gamers expect from this, the final episode and the epic conclusion to the Rocksteady Arkham trilogy. The Dark Knight will face his ultimate challenge in Batman: Arkham Knight now to be released in 2015.?
So there are no further questions here, aside from, ” Will Batman: Arkham Knight finally have the chance to come out on previous generation consoles like PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360″? Chances are, may be not, but perhaps the game will also be optimized for the Wii U instead, which is a much more viable option.
