Inquisitr reports that Max Theriot, who plays Dylan, shared that he doesn?t know if he?ll survive through Season 5. Theriot apparently feels that Norman may just kill off Dylan, either accidentally or intentionally. Fans know that Norman killed their father by ?accident.?
The site further stated that Dylan will soon find out that their mother, Norma, is dead. In the Season 4 finale, Norman lied to his brother and told him that their mother is alright but doesn?t want to talk to him. However, according to rumors, in Bates Motel Season 5, Dylan will find out the truth and will go home to confront his brother whom he?s worried about.
Meanwhile, other spoilers suggest that Sheriff Romero will take out Norman for killing his mother. However, how will that play out is still unclear as the sheriff is currently in jail. Nevertheless, the fifth season?will reportedly see a showdown between the two characters.
With Norma?s death, it will be interesting to see how Norman will finally turn into the psycho, with his mother still alive in his head and influencing him. According to executive producer Kerry Ehrin, viewers will get to know Norma more intimately, but she?s essentially a whole new character now.
Bates Motel Season 5 is the show?s final season. The show?s EPs previously said that they?ve always intended for the show to have a five-season run. Ehrin said that they?ve always had a specific endgame in mind. ?I will say it?s beautiful,? she promised. The series is slated to return in 2017, though no specific date has been revealed.
