The Bachelorette 2016 winner was revealed in the finale earlier this week. Admittedly for those who have been following the show, Jojo Fletcher?s decision to choose Jordan Rodgers was not a complete surprise.
For those who might have rooted for runner-up Robby Hayes and fan favorite Luke Pell, we have rounded up three possible reasons why the 25-year-old Texan beauty picked the former pro football player among her 26 other suitors.
The ?friendship ingredient?
There were reports that runner-up Robby Hayes definitely had it in him to be The Bachelorette 2016 winner. While the 27-year-old medical sales rep accepted his defeat like a gentleman, Jojo Fletcher still explained her decision to him on the After the Final Rose TV special.
?I loved the way you treated me and I love man that you are,? she told Robby Hayes. This is when she revealed that she felt ?the friendship ingredient? was missing in their romantic relationship. ?
Jojo Fletcher seemingly found this special bond with Jordan Rodgers, who called the real estate specialist his ?best friend.?
?You are my best friend, my soul mate and I?m going to wake up every morning and choose you,? he said during the post-finale interview.
They already knew each other before the show
Prior to The Bachelorette finale, there have already been several rumors that Jojo Fletcher will end up with Jordan Rodgers. Aside from the two?s chemistry that was evident throughout this season, speculations surfaced when it was revealed that the Jordan Rodgers already knew Jojo before The Bachelorette started.
Some fans went to social media to call out the people from the show. According to them, being acquainted to Jojo Fletcher before the show began seemingly gave Jordan Rodgers an unfair advantage over the other contestants. ?
Jojo?s circle of friends
Renowned reality TV spoiler Reality Steve also explained why the younger brother of Green Bay Packers superstar Aaron Rodgers won the hit reality dating competition. ?
?I don?t want to call [Jojo] a Dallas socialite, but I think she?s tapped into the Dallas nightlife scene here and I know she has friends that are athletes on professional teams out here,? he said.
?Luke wasn?t for her. Jordan ? former athlete, younger brother of Aaron Rodgers ? seems way more up her alley,? Reality Steve added, referring to The Bachelorette 2016 audience favorite Luke Pell. The 31-year-old war veteran gained so many fans for how he treated Jojo Fletcher that he is reportedly being considered to become the next Bachelor.
