News of The Bachelor Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell split caught a lot of people by surprise. But not as much as Bushnell herself. She said she was completely ‘blindsided’ by what just happened.
The show started with the season 20 Bachelor couple undergoing counselling with friends Emily and Haley Ferguson. There was also engaged pair Grant Kemp and Lace Morris, who joined in the group therapy. During the course of the discussion, Higgins told Bushnell that he still wanted to marry her, but not now. He wants to put on the brakes on the wedding preparations they’re doing at the moment.
Bushnell asked if the wedding is off. He answered yes because everything happened so fast that they didn’t have time to breathe. His fiancee appeared like she really didn’t see this coming. Bushnell couldn’t believe he told her they haven’t done anything. It hurts her because she practically uprooted herself to be with him. She moved to Denver and switched jobs to share her life with him. Total bummer.
She added, “I have no idea what just happened. I feel completely blindsided.”
And Then Comes Chris Harrison
Then the couple met up with Chris Harrison. Previously he offered the pair to air their wedding as a TV special. When he heard about what happened, he said he was sorry the wedding was off. But that he just wants what’s best for them.
Then things started to go downhill from then on. They went to Vegas for the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Higgins wanted to dance with Bushnell but she didn?t want to because she felt awkward with the crowd.
In the end, they both realized that there is really no such thing as a perfect relationship. So is there a change of heart somehow? We?ll have to tune in to find out.
