The Bachelor 2016 is coming to an end but its finale is still unclear because there are reports contradicting each other as to who will be the lady Ben Higgins will choose to be his bride.
Higgins has already admitted with courage that he fell for both women, Lauren Brushnell and JoJo Fletcher. ?I am in love with two women. Two very different, but equally remarkable, women. Believe me, I am just as surprised as you all are and was even more so when it was all starting to happen. Especially considering that going into this, I still had a fear that I may be unlovable, and now here I am with not just one woman that I can see a real and wonderful future with, but TWO. I?m still not sure how it happened but it did,? the contestant said in People Magazine, as reported by Inquisitr.
However, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry (CDL), Higgins has already chosen his bride and it is Brushnell. The outlet announced that the lady is the winner for the Bachelor 2016, but, because of the feelings Higgins have for both women, it is said that Brushnell is doubtful about their engagement and marriage. ?I?m scared that Ben is in love with JoJo too,? Lauren said in a report from International Business Times.
In a separate report from CDL, it was stated that even before the finale, Lauren and Ben have already broken up because the former cannot stand the fact that her fiance is also in love with JoJo Fletcher. But, it is still not yet confirmed and clearly, this season?s finale is going to be crazy because of all the issues it has to solve during the last episode.
Meanwhile, with the relationship of Higgins and Brushnell at stake, let us take a look at the Bachelor and Bachelorette?s couples that have stayed married after all these years. In a report from Hollywood Take, there are at least seven couples from both the Bachelor and Bachelorette series that are still happily living together as of January 2016. Here they are:
- Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert (Bachelorette Season 2)
- Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth (Bachelorette Season 11)
- Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried (Bachelorette Season 9)
- Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici (Bachelor Season 17)
- Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum (Bachelorette Season 7)
- Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick (Bachelor Season 13)
- Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter (Bachelor Season 1)
Now, going back to the upcoming season finale, Higgins? story could be the same with Jason Mesnick from 2009. Mesnick initially picked Melissa Rycroft but then broke up with her and married the runner-up Malaney. But, we certainly hope that would not be the case for this season especially for Lauren Brushnell.
The Bachelor 2016 finale is going to air Monday, March 14, on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) with After the Final Rose special right after at 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
