Marvel recently announced that the 2018- and 2019-slated ?movies Avengers: Infinity War parts 1 and 2 are going to become a single film with a release date two years from now. As a result, some fans are wondering how did the producers come up with that decision, and they somehow suggest that Pirates of the Caribbean is the one to blame.
Earlier this week, it was reported by Marvel that the originally announced two-part film is now going to be a solo movie titled Avengers: Infinity War. It was also revealed that a year after its release, it will be followed by a yet to be titled Avengers film. After the announcement, discussions on Reddit have quickly started.
One thread in particular tries to solve the mystery of this sudden decision by the producers. According to the users, it is mainly because the two films are being shot simultaneously which caused confusion as to whether or not the entire movie will be cut into two or the first one will end with a cliffhanger and be continued in the next part.
That was the exact case in the second and third movies of the Pirates of the Caribbean which were filmed at the same time leading to the confusion, so they had to retitle the second one with the first one keeping the original title.
Also, contrary to speculations that the two would feature different storylines after the change in titles, it was reported that nothing has changed in both stories, which will focus on Thanos and the Infinity Gems. The decision of changing the title of the second part is also a good strategy to eliminate the feeling of ?this movie is probably going to end on a huge cliff hanger and I?m going to have to wait for another year to know the ending.?
Meanwhile, Avengers: Infinity War is also said to feature the Hulk?s death. The rumors started when the giant green monster died in the recent issue of the comic series. Bruce Banner gave Hawkeye a special arrow that can kill him in an instant and asked his comrade that if ever he turned into the green menace once more and caused mass destruction, use the specialized arrow to put him down.
After reading the chapter, it immediately worried the fans across the globe whether or not the movie?s Hulk will have the same fate as that of the comic version of the hero. Although it is still uncertain, it is surely going to be one of the saddest scenes in the Avengers franchise if ever.
