Looks like Captain Marvel is not going to make a cameo in the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Age of Ultron

A couple of months ago, there was a?rumor circulating the web that Captain Marvel is going to make a cameo appearance in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron, as reported by screenrant last month.

It would be?exciting to see a new hero added in the Marvel Cinematic Universe especially when that said hero is set to have its debut in just a couple of years? time. However, recently, Marvel?s Kevin Faige just quashed?that rumor and confirmed that?Captain Marvel is NOT going to appear in the Avengers: Age of Ultron this coming May 2015.

Captain Marvel not included in the roster of Avengers: Age of Ultron, confirmed by Kevin Faige himself.

In an interview with MTV, Marvel?s President Kevin Feige reveals the answer many Marvel fans have been asking for all this time, ?Will we get to see Captain Marvel on the upcoming Avengers 2 movie??

The answer to that is obviously a big no. It is quite disappointing but at the same time, the answer gave a bit of a relief. He explained on that interview ?It didn?t feel like the time,? he also added ?we didn?t want to introduce her fully formed, flying in a costume before you knew who she was or how she came to be.?

Now that we have crossed out the disappointing part, it is now time to head to the relief part. Kevin Feige did also reveal in that interview that Captain Marvel (or also known by her real name as Carol Danvers) was part of the rosters for the Avengers? in the early days of the script.

As for the update on the phase 3 MCU movie Captain Marvel, the studio is now zeroing in on the writers and the production is still on its earliest stage, as stated on comicbook.

Marvel?s Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2015 while Captain Marvel is set for a debut on November 2, 2018 as part of the phase 3 of Marvel Cinematic Universe (or MCU).
