Prepare to know more of Black Widow’s past in The Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron

It is hard not get excited for Avengers: Age of Ultron especially now that the screening is only two months away. However, news suggests that in the sequel, fans will get to see more of Black Widow?s past and it was hinted by Scarlett Johansson herself.

Scarlett Johansson hints Black Widows past to be featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron

Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is one of the two members of The Avengers that has a mysterious past. While yes, it was already given that everyone has a dark past in the Marvel Universe, both cinematic and comics but those two, Black Widow and Hawkeye, their case is a bit different?for the Marvel Cinematic Universe of course.

However, for the fans of ScarJo or Black Widow of the MCU?it?looks like in the Avengers: Age of Ultron, we will finally get to see her dark and sad past, or at least get to know more of her before all of this.

In her interview with W Magazine [via comicbookmovie], Johansson discussed the reason why she was eager to play the role of Black Widow and gave a hint of what we can expect from her character in Avengers: Age of Ultron. She said ?People were surprised that I wanted to play a comic book heroine. But I loved Iron Man, and I met with Marvel to see what was possible. I had done my research, and the Black Widow character resonated with me. She is dark and has faced death so many times that she has a deep perspective on the value of life.?

She also added ?In the sequel, you learn more about the sadness in her past. I think of her that way. Black Widow is a superhero, but she?s also human. She?s small, but she?s strong. It?s hard not to admire her.?

Some comic book fans might already have a clue on what to expect in the sequel about her past but sadly, it was already proven a lot of times that, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is quite different from the comics. Possibly everything that is happening now in the MCU is like a different reality from the comics. Since Marvel is famous for that kind of twist why not bring their A-game to the big screen right? Have a few twists here and there and give fans a whole new different experience.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in U.S. theaters on May 1, 2015 so mark your calendars now.
