In today’s hectic tech lives, it is important to be carrying not only the best but also the most portable devices around. This is especially true for digital nomad who constantly move around in search of better places to work at. Of course, it is not only form and design are in question here, performance plays a big role as well. Luckily, the new ASUS Zenbook Flip S laptop ticks all of the boxes in selecting the best device for people on-the-go.
The new ASUS Zenbook Flip S is the thinnest convertible laptop that boasts a 14-inch 4K touch display. Apart from being only 10.9mm thin, it is also ultra light. Weighing only 1.1kg; it is even lighter than the MacBook Air and only slightly heavier than the MacBook.
As mentioned, the 4K touch display offers superb viewing pleasure with its 178-degree viewing angle, 80 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 331 ppi pixel density. The display is also compatible with the ASUS Pen and works well with Windows Ink.
The ASUS Zenbook Flip S also features a unique 360-degree hinge for a silky-smooth, step-less action while holding the display steadily at any angle. The outside is a beautifully crafted all-metal unibody enclosure for that touch of luxury.
On the inside, the ASUS Zenbook Flip S sports the latest Intel Kaby Lake i7 processor running at 3.5GHz. This is paired with up to 16GB RAM clocked at 2133MHz. In terms of storage, the maximum size is a 1TB PCIe Get 3 SSD that is three times faster than standard SSD storage.
In addition to an impressive list of specs, the convertible laptop also has two USB 3.0 ports on both sides that are used for charging and data transfer. If that is not enough, the Zenbook Flip S also includes a bundled mini dock for HDMI, Ethernet, full-sized USB 3.0, VGA, and a 3-in-1 SD card reader.
The ASUS Zenbook Flip S is expected to be released later this year and would cost starting at $1,099. For more updates on the Zenbook Flip S, be sure to check us out at The Bitbag.
