The DLC Dead King for the game Assassin?s Creed Unity is now free, is this Ubisoft’s way of saying sorry to its fans?

AC fans are in for a treat! The Dead King DLC for Assassin?s Creed Unity is now free, as said on the report made by PCGAMER. Once you have a legitimate copy of the game, you can download the said DLC on the official Xbox store.

The Synopsis of the DLC according to their website

?Saint Denis, 1794. Following the events of Assassin?s Creed Unity, journey with Arno to the ominous rural city of Saint Denis. Follow him as Arno explores the troubling open-world city of Saint Denis and its extensive underground universe ? an ancient necropolis with an intricate network of catacombs and deep caves that hide the best-kept secrets of the French kings.?

Features for the Dead King DLC of Assassin?s Creed Unity

  • An all new campaign, according to their official website.
  • Offers new story and an unlockable gun, the Guillotine Gun.
  • New missions, puzzles to solve and side quests that takes more than 3-4 hours to complete.

Why did Dead King DLC for Assassin?s Creed Unity become free?

The reason behind it is probably, Ubisoft released an unfinished game and people bought it. It has so many bugs and glitches that it made Assassin?s Creed Unity almost unplayable?to some people. So they made the DLC free for fans of the game as a token of their apology.

Giving out free DLC for a game such as Assassin?s Creed Unity might change the mind of some players and forgive/forget the bitter experience they had when they bought it the first day it was released.

Personally, whether this is Ubisoft?s way of saying sorry or not, it is a great decision to make Dead King DLC free to compensate for all the trouble the fans had encountered since the day of its initial release.

Dead King DLC for Assassin?s Creed Unity was released last January 13, 2015 and it is available for free to download.
