Ubisoft is readying big things this year as the publisher’s studios are developing several titles for launch within the fiscal year, one of which is the next Assassin’s Creed. So far, we’ve only seen the next game through leaks.. With E3 2017 drawing close, there’s a good chance that Assassin’s Creed Origins will finally get an actual reveal, but the release date might be far off.

Ubisoft recently released their earnings report and the data also shows a few of the titles that the company is planning to release within 2017 and 18. “In 2017-18 we will see the exciting returns of Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, The Crew and South Park,” Ubisoft stated in the report.

This means the latest Assassin’s Creed is scheduled to launch on or before March 2018. Ubisoft took a year off for Assassin’s Creed in 2016 to provide a better experience next time around. Many expected a 2017 title but a little wait could be needed for it.

When it comes to a reveal, fans shouldn’t have to wait too long before getting a glimpse of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Over at at the official Assassin’s Creed twitter account, fans are encouraged to subscribe to the games’ YouTube channel ahead of E3. This of course means that Ubisoft has something to reveal at E3 2017. This shouldn’t be a surprise as the series has always been a part of Ubisoft’s time on the stage every year, except last year which only focused on the Assassin’s Creed movie.

There are a lot of leaks regarding Assassin’s Creed Origins already and it’s a field day for fans over at 4chan. A leaker has revealed a few more things about the game, one of which is the authenticity of the leaked images earlier this month and it looks like we’ll get to see the gameplay footage behind the image at E3 2017.

The image leaked earlier this month was apparently a part of the demo that’s going to be available at E3 2017. In the demo, players will get to see the main character and there’s going to be one introductory mission only. Players will get to see the new combat and equipment mechanic in the upcoming title.

A 2017 release for the latest Assassin’s Creed shouldn’t be ruled out for now. We might get to see the game’s release date at E3 2017 along with a gameplay footage.
